We are a young golf course but we are creating a lot of “talk”. In this section you will find comments from those who have experiencied at close range playing at Lanzarote Golf.

The course is in very good conditions, it surprises with its attention to detail.

The course was very enjoyable. Quite a tough test from the white tees. The greens were in very good condition compared to the other 7 courses I have played in the Canaries this winter. (9/2/2010)

I would like to thank you for your kindness in letting my wife and myself test your beautiful course on January 31st. Our thanks also goes to guide chef Diana Smalbro at Club La Santa for her help in arranging it all for us. Despite the rather windy conditions we had a very nice and comfortable day. We appreciate the difficulties you must experience by maintaining a golf course in the dry climate you have, and this puts the condition of your course in quite some perspective. A few days earlier we also tested the Costa Teguise course, but we must say that the Tias course is in far better condition and much more up to the technical and layout standards we have become used to expect from a golf course of international interest, and especially the fairways and greens we found in particularly good condition. Also it was very comfortable to be allowed to drive almost everywhere, respecting the limits around the greens etc. of course.
One thing in particular we feel we must mention was your widespread use of distance markers along both sides of the fairways. This is a very helpful feature, but they would be of even bigger help to the elderly player with poor eyesight if they were painted in different colours according to the distances they represent, say 200ms/white, 150ms/yellow and 100ms/red as on some other courses like our own in Denmark. The numbers written on your markers can be hard to distinct, and as some of them even were turned away from the fairway they were of less use. This is a minor point of course and did only little to extract from the good experience we had.
The clubhouse is also of exquisite quality, the staff were extremely kind and helpful and even the coffee and smoothie we enjoyed afterwards were excellent. We shall promote your course to all our friends in Denmark and at Club La Santa.
Thanks again and we look forward to returning next year (on our projected 14th successive January visit to Club La Santa).

“Very surprise to play such a lovely golf course. Really good golf holes, they are all a really good design.”
- DAVID MINCHIN (MIEMBRO DE LA PGA ALEMANA)
A new resort with a great future!, a “Green Oasis” in the brow landscape.
The course is a challenge for all leves of ability – but bring a driver which can hit straight!. The greens are receptive and put well, be careful – there are some hidden breaks, so they must be “read” properly.
Don´t be put off by the waste areas between the fairways. They are just part of the challenge.
The staff are friendly and competent and welcoming, the cusine is very good too.
- LEE FINDLEY
Very enjoyable and challenging course with fantastic views. I would highly recommend this course to any golfer of any standard.

Thanks for a great experience.
First impressions are fantastic, the putting green and first tee create a great shart to the day.
The course has a great layout and is both challeging and fair for all levels of players.

Course is more open than other course on Lanzarote. This should make for a good resort course.
First 9 is already in good condition but second 9 needs more time.

When I consider how young the golf course is, I was very surprisedat how goog the greens and fairways were.
We played the course in in february 2009 and it is definatly improving. The new palms and plants make a big difference.
